Why seA developed this Database?
By incorporating the information into a searchable, public database, seA has a number of goals in mind:

  1. Improve marketing of local R&D strengths to research, business and funding agencies outside the region;
  2. Improve local awareness of the region's R&D capacity;
  3. Encourage the sharing of physical and human resources for the benefit of local organizations;
  4. Improve the Algoma region's investment readiness through better awareness of its world class strengths in R&D;
  5. Promote the creation of science-based job opportunities by attracting more researchers to the region.
